Contact email and enquiries
Contact email: gardenar@gmail.com. Use this address for questions about website content, corrections, technical issues, privacy matters, editorial feedback and permissions enquiries. Your email app should open when you select the link. The website itself does not collect messages through a form. For security, avoid including passwords, account numbers, precise home addresses or other sensitive details.
If you are looking for an immediate answer, browse the guides library, use site search or explore the free gardening tools. If those do not resolve your question, email us with the details described below. We cannot promise individual growing consultations or a fixed reply time.
Find the answer you need first
A specific question is often already covered by a focused guide. If you are trying to estimate growing-media volume, start with the raised-bed soil calculator. If you are deciding whether to move tender plants outside, read the last-frost planner and check your local forecast. To compare materials, read compost versus topsoil.

| Choosing a growing project | All gardening guides |
| Monthly planting ideas | UK planting calendar |
| Estimating mulch or compost | Garden calculators |
| Understanding site research | Editorial approach |
| Gardening risk or safety boundaries | Disclaimer |

These resources offer general information. They cannot inspect your garden, view a plant specimen or verify site-specific environmental hazards.
Report an error in a growing guide
If a guide gives a date, quantity or method that seems wrong, the most valuable report identifies a specific, checkable claim. Keep the article URL, exact sentence and relevant details together. If a source contradicts the advice, include its title or link. For example, saying that a seed-starting table confuses outdoor planting with indoor germination is more actionable than saying that the entire page is bad.
It also helps to identify whether the issue depends on local conditions. Advice written for a protected greenhouse may be unsuitable for an exposed garden. A reported difference could arise from temperature, cultivar, soil moisture or a missing qualification, rather than a universally incorrect gardening method.
Useful report details include:
- The full page URL and the section heading where the issue appears.
- The exact instruction, figure, link or image caption involved.
- A brief description of the problem and the correct alternative, if known.
- A reliable source or clear calculation that supports the correction.
- The relevant conditions, such as plant variety, indoor/outdoor growing or UK region.
Send your correction to gardenar@gmail.com, using a subject such as “Article correction” and including the article URL. Clear references and local growing context help distinguish a genuine error from a difference caused by climate, variety or conditions.
Tell us about a calculator issue
Calculators can fail because of a website error, a misunderstood unit or an unreasonable assumption. A report is most useful when another person could reproduce it. Record the tool URL, the values and units you entered, the result displayed and why the result seems implausible.
For example, if a raised-bed estimate appears too high, note whether your measurements were in metres or centimetres and whether you used the inside or outside dimensions. If a result changes unexpectedly between two attempts, note the browser and approximate sequence of actions. Do not include passwords or other unrelated private details.
Before reporting, check the units shown beside each field. If possible, compare the result with a simple manual calculation. The editorial approach explains how tool estimates should be interpreted. A mathematically correct quantity is not necessarily a suitable buying decision.
Broken pages, navigation and accessibility
Website problems can include a menu that does not open, a search result that leads nowhere, text that becomes difficult to read on a phone, or an image that fails to load. Good feedback distinguishes the expected action from the actual one. State which page you were on, the device or browser type and what happened after the click or key press.
Accessibility issues are particularly important. Examples include a control that cannot be reached using a keyboard, a form label that is unclear to a screen reader, low-contrast text or content that overflows on a small display. An accurate description is usually sufficient to begin reviewing the issue; a screenshot is helpful only if it does not expose private information.
If you are struggling to use an interactive calculator, the same task may sometimes be completed using the calculation described in the tool's notes. Avoid making a purchase or safety decision from a result that you cannot verify.
Privacy and personal information
Please email gardenar@gmail.com only the information needed to explain your concern. Do not include passwords, sensitive medical details, bank information or unnecessary personal identifiers. The site has no contact form; the Privacy Policy explains the limits of what can be confirmed about personal-data processing and hosting.
For questions about personal information or to raise a rights request, email gardenar@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line and briefly identify the issue. The data controller’s legal identity and the deployed hosting arrangements still need to be confirmed and included in the privacy notice. We may need additional information to locate relevant data, but do not send identity documents unless they have been specifically and securely requested.
Questions about plants and garden safety
Gardenar can explain general principles, but a website description is not a safe way to diagnose every situation. Do not use AI-generated pictures to decide whether a plant, berry, mushroom or seed is edible. If ingestion or poisoning is suspected, seek appropriate urgent medical or veterinary assistance. For pesticides, read the authorised product label and current UK regulatory guidance.
For possible structural hazards involving balconies, heavy raised beds, walls, glazing, electricity or drainage near a building, seek an appropriately qualified professional. A calculator that estimates soil weight or water volume cannot certify that a structure is safe. General gardening information has limits, and recognising them protects people, plants and property.
Similarly, a plant disease described in a guide may have several different causes. Brown leaves may reflect drought, overwatering, cold injury, pests or something else. Avoid applying treatments solely because a symptom sounds familiar; look for reliable diagnostic evidence first.
Media, partnerships and reuse enquiries
For press, partnership, advertising or copyright-permission enquiries, email gardenar@gmail.com and describe what you are proposing. No sponsorship arrangements, advertising rates or response times are promised here. Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship should be disclosed clearly, and permission to republish written content or imagery should be obtained before reuse.
If you wish to refer someone to a useful guide, linking to its public URL is usually the simplest option. For broader reuse, the website terms explain the intended conditions and why you should not assume ownership or reuse rights from an AI-generated image alone.
Common questions
Can I send an email to Gardenar now?
Yes. Write to gardenar@gmail.com and include a useful subject line. The address has been supplied as Gardenar’s public contact email; its delivery and response handling should still be checked on the deployed website. No contact form is provided.
Will Gardenar answer individual garden-design or plant-health questions?
The website is an information resource, not a booked consultation service. General guides and tools may help you frame a question, but the site does not offer inspection, guaranteed diagnosis or personalised professional advice.
Can I report a broken link without a screenshot?
Yes. Email gardenar@gmail.com with the affected page URL, the link text, the destination you expected and a short explanation of what happened. A screenshot is helpful but optional.
Why does Gardenar use email for enquiries?
Email is the published public contact option because it allows you to explain an issue and attach relevant references without depending on a form embedded in the site. We do not claim telephone support, an automatic ticketing system or a guaranteed response time.
